The Bottom Line
A must-have greatest hits album from the boys. It's great for die-hards and new fans alike.
Mötley F'N Crüe
It's Is The Year 2005 and NOBODY could have predicted this. Mötley Crüe reunited with 3 new tracks and wait...A WORLD TOUR. I sure as hell didn't see that coming. But The Crüe, now saying there will be a new album, would not promise not trying to kill each other and finish the tour or a new album. For now you get what you get and that came in the form of the most comprehensive collection of Crüe hits and favorites of the fans that could be packed onto 2 discs featuring a couple of new tracks.
Starting one of the all time classic Crüe tracks (live wire), thew listener is brought on a roller coaster of rockin' songs featuring huge sing along choruses and some pretty good guitar licks and awesome drumming. With one of the most distinctive voices around Vince Neil wails with the best of them adding to the monster know simply as The Crüe.
Now nobody has every said they were the greatest band ever, they are one of my favorites and a band I can listen to and not get sick of. Mötley Crüe and their music are not to be taken seriously as the songs are just fun party anthems (and strip club anthems -Girls, Girls, Girls) yet to hear an entire retrospective of their entire career and what is to come makes me almost feel as if the worlds most notorious rock band could well be one of the powers that be for all rock music to follow.
The Greatest Hits...
...But Corabi? Yeah, John is on this album, albeit in a minor role.
Anyhow, it's a great collection thats a must for any fan to own, and even a great place for new fans to start.
Jhon has spoken significantly about the album in the above review, so realistically, I'm just here as another voice to recommend this album, it's a great listen.
