Underground Sky Sky

Thomas Beckett is back once again, hired this time by the NSA to assassinate a suspected terrorist in Vietnam. When Beckett discovers that the target is an old friend, he begins to suspect that all is not as it seems, and undertakes a mission of his own to find out what's up.

His Trigger Finger Grew Back!

Well, this installment of Sniper is a bit harder to rank than the other two. I think it was a better movie than the second, but I also feel that they really overdid it with the vulgarity and poor editing in this movie. Hell, you can see the finger that Beckett lost through most of the movie...the way they cut a lot of the scenes together is also a bit annoying. Guess that's what you get with a Dawn Of The Dead sequel director...

In the end, I think my rating of 1.5 should stand...it was a decent movie, with action, a soundtrack that wasn't "killer", and a Sniper feel closer to the original than the sequel.

If you really want to see a Tom Beringer movie set in Vietnam, check out Platoon, it's much better.
